This post is brought to you by the fact that Ravenholdt EU is still down for extended maintenance, meaning I can’t connect to WoW to check my auctions.

As you may have seen me state, the internet is a wonderful thing for creativity, and in this world of Google and Live Search and everything, sometimes it can be a bit hard to find the wheat from the chaff. So in my not so infinite wisdom, I’m going to show you some of what I’ve found, and you can show me what you’ve found.

Also inter-spaced is various news, links and other such things. Y’know, filler. Below the cut are many a banner from various webcomic sites, so just a heads up for those on slower connections.

The first is from fellow CoH and WoW player Kompi. I direct you to Beyond the Tree, the chronicles of Hani and Tiny as they wander through Azeroth on a noble quest! The link to the start of the comic is here. Also, Kompi is responsible for this concept image of just what the cutest race in WoW would look like, as the new ‘Hero’ Class Deathknight.

Cute Death is Cute!
While on the WoW front, it seems that someone has managed to set up a private server based on leaked details from Wrath of the Lich King. I’m not sure how Blizzard will take this, but I think the Lawyer-League are on their way already to raise hell. I’m not going to link it, so instead you get this nice link to theĀ  official WotLK website. It’ll probably be out in 3rd/4th Quarter 2008, so you have a while yet. Just remember that unlike The Burning Crusade there won’t be new races for new players to play, so if you’re a new gamer you could hold off on getting WotLK unless you -really- wanted to do Inscription crafting.

And now onto webcomics proper, as I barrage you with URL’s for some of the things I’ve been reading.

Khaos is a GLBT webcomic about the lives of a group of teenagers, all of whom come from a spectrum of different backgrounds, genders, sexualities and schools of thought. It’s angsty in places, funny in others, and currently on hiatus while the author does art exams. If teen drama is your thing, give it a looksee.

Undertow, a generic fantasy webcomic, recently caught my eye while browsing an online comics listing. The art is very good quality, coloured more often than not, and the writing seems fairly snappy. If fantasy comics are your thing, no harm in looking.

Speaking of Comics listings, here’s the one mentioned. Might be worth popping by and seeing if anything catches your eye.

The next two comics are finished, but that still doesn’t stop you going through the archives. The first is:

And the second would be:

The last comics to be listed are some gaming favourites, MMORPG parody ‘The Noob’ and GU Comics.

And that’s currently it for webcomic roundups! More things in detail, in focus, and new things as and when I find them and talk about them!

While vaguely on the subject of webcomics, I’d like to point out Toonlet to people, a website application that lets you create your own comics and post to your blogs. I haven’t yet tried it myself, but it’s something of interest to me that you may want to check out.

So I think that’s that for a while. I can’t post everything in one post, can I?
